"The Extraordinary Power of Pickles" was a huge hit with our packed audience! There were a lot of laughs and a whole lot of pickles in this quirky fantastical journey through the wastelands of Elfland... and the enchanted land of Wisconsin.

Students in grades 7-12 can join the Scene 7 Players. These students can participate in design, manufacture, and management of costumes, sets, and props; they can learn to think creatively (while under a budget), to use their hands to create something, and to organize items and people effectively. These students also learn how to work in groups, trust other people, and be trustworthy. The stage crew develop leadership and people management skills.

Ghosts of Grimwood Manor *
Cast - fifteen female, six male Year - 2024 Plot - Grimwood School for Girls is hosting a fundraising weekend to save the school from possible closure. Only the best and brightest students remain to impress their guests in hopes of receiving significant donations. But acts of vandalism and sabotage taint the activities, and as the students attempt to uncover the truth, other, more sinister, plots are revealed.
The Winsome Stranger *
Cast - twelve female, three male Year - 2023 Plot - Inspired by the books of Jane Austen, The Winsome Stranger follows the Bunting family over the course of three days. Edith, a middle child, is often overlooked until a handsome - and injured - stranger appears on their doorstep. Into this scenario arrive Lady Henrietta Beckwith and her children, Poor Unsuspecting Mr. Relish, and the Everly sisters - all with schemes of their own.

Cast - nine female, four male Year - 2021 Plot - Tale 1: The Loser Prince - Fritz is given a series of gifts that enable him to find his fortune. Tale 2: The Damsel in Distress - Maleen is helped in a variety of ways, ultimately giving her the courage to stand up to her stepmother. Tale 3: The Handsome Prince - Through a series of meetings, Hans begins to develop confidence in his own abilities. Tale 4: Happily Ever After - Trude takes over the kingdom as the royal family, and her own family, come to terms with their relationships and ambitions.
Dr. WOE: Dance-Dance-[Communist] Revolution *
Cast - thirteen female, three male Year - 2020 Plot - In this prequel to "23 Reloaded" (2008) and "From Morocco with Love (2014), the origins of the 32 are revealed. Johan and Juliet's budding romance is threatened when international organizations search for connections between Juliet, communists, and a crime syndicate known as WOE (Women Of Evil).
Sherlock Holmes: The Secrets of Brindlegate *
Cast - twelve female, three male Year - 2019 Plot - Featuring elements from many of the classic Sherlock Holmes tales by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, our story encounters the valuable Marzipan Stone, explores the mystery behind the disappearance of Gertrude, and seeks to discover just what they have to do with each other.
Unveiling Chane *
Cast - ten female, six male Year - 2018 Plot - Inspired by Mark Twain's "The Prince and the Pauper," the 2018 Players performance follows the adventures of Samara Griffin, a baker in the capital city of the fictional Republic of Chane. In a strange sequence of events, she finds herself filling in for the missing princess just days before her coronation. Unfortunately, criminals are planning jewel heists, the Chancellor is up to something, and the princess's cousin discovers Samara's deception. Meanwhile, the real princess wanders the streets. beginning to discover what her neglect of the government has caused.
The Legend of Ichabod Crane *
Cast - ten female, six male Year - 2017 Plot - Based on "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," by Washington Irving, our story picks up where he left off. A few concerned residents of Sleepy Hollow venture out to discover what has become of Ichabod Crane, and, in the process, get caught up in an adventure involving smugglers, superstitions, pirate treasure, and romance.
Our Hearts were Young and Gay
Cast - six female, six male Year - 2016 Plot - Dramatized by Jean Kerr, this is the hilarious tale of two young women as they embark on a trans-Atlantic voyage. Cornelia and Emily plan to spend their summer in Paris, without their mothers "clucking over them every minute." But the two girls are wide-eyed and innocent as they encounter stowaways, handsome young men, admirals, dashing French actors, and drama at every turn.
The Junkyard at the End of the Universe **
Cast - nine female, five male Year - 2015 Plot - Arthur Clennam returns home to the planet of Nodnol determined to uncover a family secret - some wrong committed against the family of Dorrit. In the process of trying to discover the truth (and right the wrong), Arthur befriends young Amy Dorrit. As the characters' lives intertwine, the Clennam and Dorrit families experience intrigue, blackmail, romance, tragedy, and failure. In the end, Amy chooses not to become a victim of her circumstances; rather, in the midst of her heartache, she offers forgiveness and grace and is able to become a stronger woman through it all.
From Morocco with Love *
Cast - eight female, seven male Year - 2014 Plot - Agent Carlos, Number 9 of the 32, knows that something is going on in Morocco, something fishy at Volk Corporation. He and the Bonbon girls sneak in to discover the truth, but he is caught. His sister, a princess from Andorra, comes to rescue him, but is caught as well. Meanwhile, Mr. Anglesey plans to build a massive Instantaneous Particle Atomic Disintegrator. Can Carlos and the 32 stop him before it's too late?
Pride & Prejudice **
Cast - thirteen female, eight male Year - 2013 Plot - Jane Austen's classic novel comes to life as the Bennet family faces the drama of love, false assumptions, and foolishness throughout the course of a single year. Mrs. Bennet desperately wants her daughters to marry, and marry well. The eldest - Jane - falls in love with Mr. Bingley, but will her family's impropriety get in the way? Elizabeth has no patience for proud or ridiculous men, such as Mr. Darcy and Mr. Collins, but is Mr. Wickham as amiable as he seems? Poor Mary is too caught up in her books to even be noticed by anyone. Kitty has never learned to have her own opinions or ideas. And Lydia's flirtation runs the risk of destroying the family prospects. This faithful rendering of the beloved book features Austen's own dialogue and characterization.
The Silver Waistcoat *
Cast - twelve female, five male Year - 2012 Plot - Budding detective Alethea Howe has traveled by train across the country many times, but this time the train gets stuck in a snowdrift deep in the Rocky Mountains. While trapped, aging socialite Mrs. Kensington discovers her diamond - the famous Scarab Diamond - has been stolen. Alethea conducts an investigation of the train's passengers and crew to discover "whodunnit."
Aged to Perfection *
Cast - fifteen female, five male Year - 2011 Plot - Queen Norine of the tiny kingdom of Yuland, just off the coast of Canada, is in trouble. Their batch of cheese - Yuland's only export - has been spoiled. However, Madam Helga believes she has discovered a mineral called fultguld that will change the way they make cheese forever. The American government also knows about this mineral and is willing to pay for it - but Lady Raghnild seeks to use this opportunity to put herself on top. Will Yuland fall apart? Just what does fultguld do?

Cast - eleven female, nine male Year - 2010 Plot - "A Midsummer Night's Dream" - Fairies and magic wreak havoc on a group of lovers while some common laborers prepare a play. "The Proposal" - A short play by Anton Chekhov about arguments and love. "Spitting Cherries" * - A short musical about a small town and two young people learning to move on after the Second World War. In the middle of all of this, we threw in two short comedy sketches - "The Bus Stop" and "The Restaurant."
Musketeer! **
Cast - six female, seven male Year - 2009 Plot - Adapted from "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas, this is the story of D'Artagnan as he tries to achieve his dream to become a musketeer in the king's service. But Milady Clarik and Cardinal Richelieu have their own schemes and D'Artagnan gets caught in the middle.
23 Reloaded *
Cast - nine female, six male Year - 2008 Plot - Eleanor has always wanted to be a real spy, not just a scientist. When she perfects a cure-all drug that attracts international attention, she finally gets her chance. Set in the world of espionage in the 1960s, "23 Reloaded" is a fun, exciting show filled with laughs, intrigue, and surprises.

Cast - ten female, seven male Year - 2007 Plot - Based on Oscar Wilde's "Importance of Being Earnest," this show follows the exploits of Rick - pretending to be a British rock star - and Alan - pretending to be the same British rock star. This hilarious play is bursting with zany, memorable characters and outlandishly silly scenarios!
Love's Labour's Lost
Cast - ten female, seven male Year - 2006 Plot - Shakespeare's "Love's Labour's Lost" follows the adventures of Prince Ferdinand of Navarre as he and three of his friends commit themselves to a few years devoted to study - no women allowed. Difficulties arise when a neighboring princess arrives with her retinue and the Prince must be hospitable while still attempting to maintain his rule. But the princess is very beautiful...
Phantom of the Opera
Cast - seven female, seven male Year - 2005 Plot - Strange things are going on at the Paris Opera House. Christine Daae, a rising star, disappears and the whole opera house is in an uproar! But then they discover who's been lurking in the shadows....
Pygmalion
Cast - ten female, five male Year - 2004 Plot - Henry Higgins and his friend Col. Pickering make a bet - Higgins must transform poor flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a Duchess, simply by altering her speech and dress. Higgins succeeds but Eliza gets caught in the middle as the student surpasses the teacher.
The Merry Pranks of Tyll
Cast - six female, four male, with guest actor Year - 2003 Plot - A young boy named Tyll arrives at the castle. With the help of the kitchen girl - Gretchen - he manages to expose corrupt plots against the king.

However, something unexpected happens when the "real world" interferes with the story world. Will Sir Chauncey and his friends be able to rescue the Dwarf King from the evil ogre Filipicus? And what is so special about pickles?

Cast - fifteen female, four male Year - 2023 Plot - "The Thrushwold Ladies" - Effie ran away from home to gain "real-world experience" so she can be a writer and finds herself joining up with the infamous gang of bandits known as The Thrushwold Ladies. "A Gossip's Duty" - Just as Celia Price begins her job at the post office, a mysterious package arrives. Gossip and rumors abound as the town speculates about the origins and intended recipient of the package. "The Art of Confidence" - Con artists Cordelia and Jane come into town to conclude their biggest job yet. But they didn't count on betrayal.

"A Comedy of Errors" - Scarlet's plan comes to light in the midst of some confusion as unknown twins come to Stratford (based on "The Comedy of Errors" by William Shakespeare). A Bucket of Milk *
Cast - seven female, three male Year - 2019 Plot - Lucinda and Leander have a plan to convince her mother to allow them to marry. Lucinda has been pretending to be sick - no doctor can cure her - when in walks Leander, pretending to be a doctor who can work miracles. What they don't know is Mrs. Morgan has discovered Major Hugo, a military doctor who always gets what he wants. Missing snakes, young flirts, and a growth on Mrs. Morgan's foot provide plenty of laughs in this farce of marriage, miracles, and Major Hugo.
The Critic or, A Tragedy Rehearsed
Cast - six female, two male Year - 2018 Plot - In this 18th century play by Richard Sheridan, playwright Puff invites two friends to watch a rehearsal of her new tragedy - The Spanish Armada. Dangle loves the show, but Sneer is a bit more skeptical. However, Puff gave the actors permission to cut out sections of the play and the director Hopkins guides Puff and her friends through the severely shortened script. In our abridged version, four actors portray the eleven characters of the tragedy.
Three - A collection of one-act plays
Cast - twelve female, three male Year - 2017 Plot - "Fourteen": (written by Alice Gerstenberg) Mrs. Pringle has planned a dinner party for fourteen guests. When a blizzard threatens to keep some of them away, she scrambles to fill the empty seats. "The Soprano": (adapted from a French farce by Georges Feydeau) Mrs. Pacarel attempts to hire a soprano and then "sell" her to the opera house. Things get a little confused when someone else arrives and the whole family thinks she's the soprano. "The Daring and Dashing"*: Donna has a deadline (2:15) for the next episode of the soap opera she writes - The Daring and Dashing. Interruptions slow down her progress as the lines between reality and the story she's writing get blurry.
Tangled Webs *
Cast - seven female, four male Year - 2016 Plot - The reclusive Mildred Maybug has been hosting parties every winter for the past three years. But has she really? Her housekeeper pretends to be her (while she's 'wintering' in the south) to lure in wealthy guests. Her friends the jeweler and the cook are involved in her scam to steal expensive jewelry, replace the stolen items with replicas, and rake in the profits. Things start to get tricky when the real Mildred Maybug decides to throw her own party...

She must go on a quest to Professor Kingsley in Northern Wisconsin to figure out how to get them back in. Along the way, she encounters the Cheese Wiz and the Earl. Was that Filipicus the evil ogre from Elfland? How did she get here?
Pennsylvania Brown and the Legend of the Mankin Swallow *
Cast - nine female, three male Year - 2010 Plot - Pennsylvania Brown has been called upon to join forces with her rival Morgan Justice and locate the Mankin Swallow. Hounded by Nazis, she must travel to Rome and a small kingdom high in the Himalayas before piecing together the clues.
Mulligan's Island *
Cast - nine female, five male Year - 2009 Plot - Two "episodes" of our spoof on "Gilligan's Island." "A Pirate's Life" features a film crew arriving on the island and Mulligan mistaking them for actual pirates. "Strangers Among Us" deals with visitors from another planet and a couple of scientists frantically searching for them.

But when she gets sucked into the world of soap operas, action shows, police dramas, and music, even Gracie can't figure out how to get back out again. Can the Queen of Jive help her? Or maybe Johnny Mark, the announcer? And what's the deal with the evil Effemm?
